Amanda began training with Team PrettySTRONG in 2012. She has been a top ten finisher at USA Powerlifting Raw Nationals since 2013. Originally from Baconton, GA, she moved to Atlanta and earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. She currently works as an Environmental Engineer for the State of Georgia. Amanda is a USA Powerlifting certified club coach, a State Referee, and will soon be taking her National Referee exam. Amanda’s team spirit rivals that of no one, reminding all members that it’s ok to get loud, dance, and dominate the platform with uninhibited emotion. Her attention to detail and form makes her a staple as one of Team PrettySTRONG’s in-club movement and game day coaches.
When Amanda is not training or working, she is spending time with her baby girl, Eleanor. Amanda trained and coached throughout her entire pregnancy, documenting the journey on social media to normalize active pregnancies. #prettystrongbaby
